Alex initially enlisted in the Army as a Human Intelligence Collector and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was able to earn his bachelor’s degree from Temple University while on active duty and commissioned as an Armor Officer. Alex was assigned as Tank Commander and deployed in support of Operation Spartan Shield. Following his 8 years on active duty, Alex attended law school and graduated from Drexel’s Kline School of Law. He now practices law with a focus on civil and commercial litigation.

Alex is deeply passionate about improving the lives of Veterans. Since leaving the military, he has been involved in numerous Veteran non-profits with a focus on mental health. He is an active participant in Ruff Ride and the Foster 100. Alex is also a member of the Flyers Warriors, a team of disabled Veterans playing hockey and serving the local community. Alex’s greatest accomplishment is his son, whom he loves to help with his high school technology competitions as a parent volunteer.
