Andrew Einstein served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 2006 to 2019, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and was wounded in Afghanistan, for which he received the Purple Heart.
He began his law enforcement career in 2008 while continuing to serve in the Marine Corps, and later worked as Homicide Detective, with the Camden County Police in Camden City. In 2024, Andrew sustained a line-of-duty injury and was forced to medically retire from law enforcement in 2026.
In August 2025, he partnered with SSD Cassidy, a hearing assistance service dog, through Team Foster. Andrew lives in South Jersey with his wife Jillian, sons Jacob, Colton, and Harlan, retired service dog Gunner, and SSD Cassidy. In his free time, he coaches youth ice hockey with the Philadelphia Flyers Elite and youth soccer with the Cinnaminson Vipers Premier.
