Team Foster Joins Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes

for some family fun!

Team Foster had the incredible honor of being invited by Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes to enjoy batting practice and a Phillies game at Citizens Bank Park. It was a day full of energy, camaraderie, and community—made even more special by the military families who came out to cheer on Team Foster and show their support. Seeing our families in the stands, united by both baseball and our mission, was a powerful reminder of the community that stands behind our work.

The fun didn’t stop at the ballpark. Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes also hosted a family-friendly movie night, where everyone gathered to watch the live-action film How To Train Your Dragon. Kids (and adults alike!) were thrilled when the Philly Phanatic made a surprise appearance, spreading laughter and excitement throughout the crowd.
