US Navy Veteran

Mike is a U.S. Navy Veteran and former civil servant with over 15 years of experience ensuring complex operations run flawlessly behind the scenes. Enlisting in the Navy prior to graduating high school in his hometown of Putney, Vermont, Mike completed two deployments aboard the USS San Jacinto (CG-56) as a Petty Officer Second Class, maintaining mission-critical communications systems.

Following his military service, Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations from Penn State University in 2015. He went on to spend nine years at the Department of State, most notably supporting over 200 high-level appointees through clearance and confirmation processes with the Office of Presidential Appointments.

Driven to bridge the gap between technical innovation and human capital, Mike is currently a master’s candidate at Georgetown University, pursuing his degree in Artificial Intelligence Management. As a Community Representative for Team Foster in Pittsburgh, he brings his extensive background in operational management and public service to support local Veterans and strengthen community partnerships.

In his free time, Mike stays active on the ice as a player for the Pittsburgh Warriors hockey team and enjoys engaging with the local Pittsburgh community.
